Speed Tiller + Roller Drill + Duncan Seeder
This custom Doyle Ag machine includes a speed tiller, roller drill and duncan seeder with the following features:
- This machine was initially designed to fill the gap between direct drilling and full cultivation. We needed more tilth and a more aggressive suppression of summer grass species without the use of chemical or waiting for a frost. We also needed a machine that was capable of handling all soil and paddock conditions, organic matter levels, and rocks and rubbish (farmer – but I’m sure the paddock was clean!)
- This had to be achieved in a single pass to minimize soil moisture losses and soil structure damage, while being cost competitive. Multiple adjustments of tillage depth and seed harrow depth allows the machine to suit all conditions
